NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES
  • The Wolves are coming off of an 18 day competition break after an off week followed by a canceled USD Early Brid meet
  • Northern State sets their sights on the USD Snooze Button Classic for their second competition of the outdoor season
  • The last time NSU track & field was in action was March 19-21 at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invite in Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Northern took two first place finishes along with 10 top-5 places
  • At the Shamrock Invite, the women's 4x100 team of Kali NortonRenea Taylor, Anna Skachenko, and Alexa Fender set a new school record for their event time of 47.10. The previous record was set in 2021 with a time of 47.25 by the team of Isabel Kinzer, Shona Juliana Makenna Larson, and Shanice Burrell.
  • Men in the top-10 of their event(s) in the NSIC include: Rudi May (PV– 1st), Ty Kadlec, Chris Weber, Noah Bayer, and Jayden Munroe (4x100m relay – 3rd), Martins Ogedenbe-Dobies (HJ– 3rd), Munroe (TJ – 3rd, LJ – 9th), Dylan Hoot (HJ– 6th), Eyuel Miftah (TJ – 7th), Gunner Watson (javelin –7th), Weber (100m – 8th), and Greyson Schuetzle (110m H – 8th)
