  • The Wolves are 14-20 (6-12 NSIC) after splitting their last four doubleheaders against MSU Moorhead, Jamestown, Minnesota Duluth and Bemidji State
  • This season, Northern State has recorded 136 runs, 237 hits through 860 at-bats (.276 team batting average), 119 RBIs, 38 doubles, eight triples, 14 home runs and eight stolen bases
  • In the field, the Wolves have notched 652 putouts, 236 assists, 38 errors, 170 runs allowed and 131 strikeouts (4.70 team ERA)
  • In her second collegiate season, Aune Boben has been one of Northern State's most valuable assets in the field and at the plate, posting 22 runs, 41 hits, 21 RBIs, nine doubles, one triple, four home runs, 60 putouts, 46 assists and 31 strikeouts (4.72 ERA) in 46.0 innings pitched
  • Tevan Bryant is one of the Wolves' most reliable bats, tallying eight runs, 27 hits, 31 RBIs, four doubles and six home runs, boasting a .333 average at the plate and the only OPS on the team over 1.000 (1.100)
  • Freshman Sydney Anderson leads the Wolves with a .375 batting average, collecting eight runs on 27 hits, three doubles, one triple, one home run and 10 RBIs, while leading the team in putouts with 136 this season
  • On the rubber, Mckenzie Wanner has seen 103.1 innings, chalking up a team-high 70 strikeouts and boasting NSU's lowest ERA at 3.93

UNIVERSITY OF MARY STORYLINES
  • The Marauders are 12-28 and 2-16 in NSIC play, recording a win against Minnesota Crookston on Saturday and MSU Moorhead on Sunday
  • Through 40 games, UMary has recorded 167 runs, 276 hits, 139 RBIs, 53 doubles, seven triples, eight home runs, 47 stolen bases, 765 putouts, 339 assists and 35 errors
  • Kaitlyn McLaughlin is one of three UMary batters posting a batting average over .300 (.353), collecting 25 runs, 42 hits, nine RBIs, three doubles, four triples and 21 stolen bases
  • 4-foot-10 utility player Jenel Mallari has had an impressive season so far, tallying 19 runs, 35 hits, four doubles and two triples while racking up 100 putouts and 14 assists in the field
  • Francesca Villaneda leads the Marauders in putouts with 143 on the year, 43 more than the next athlete on the team
  • Through 104.2 innings, Arria Johnson leads UMary in strikeouts thrown with 44 on the year, while Jayleen Rojas follows with 33 in 19 appearances in the circle
  • Amy Schmeckpeper is in her third season at the helm of UMary's softball team, accumulating 31 wins in her time with the program

WOLVES AND MARAUDERS HISTORY
  • Northern State has won the last four matchups against UMary, scoring at least seven runs in each of their victories

MINOT STATE STORYLINES
  • The Beavers boast a 26-16 (11-7 NSIC) record, 9-1 in their last 10 outings
  • This season, MiSU has recorded 227 runs, 341 hits, 212 RBIs, 69 doubles, 20 triples, 28 home runs, 52 stolen bases, 828 putouts, 372 assists, 37 errors and 175 strikeouts on the mound
  • Both Sara Van Wickler and Paige Kellogg lead the team with a .353 average at the plate, with Van Wickler chalking up 35 runs, 41 hits, 25 RBIs, nine doubles, nine triples, four home runs and 15 stolen bases
  • Infielder Maizy Whitlow leads the Beavers with 175 putouts, posting a .989 fielding percentage
  • For Kellogg, the Nevada native has racked up 16 runs on 36 hits, 21 RBIs, three doubles, one triple and three home runs, while collecting 164 putouts in the field
  • In 15 appearances, Katie Newberry boasts a 1.60 ERA, striking out 76 batters in 83.0 innings, while Kierra Fournier has tallied 55 strikeouts in 81.0 innings (3.72 ERA)
