NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES
  • Northern State track and field will host their first home meet of the outdoor season, the Dewey Donat Classic
  • The Wolves were last in action at the USD Snooze Button Classic last week
  • As a team they totaled 43 top-7 finishes, 14 personal records, and multiple provisional marks
  • First place finishers included Jayden Munroe, Levi Reis, Renea Taylor (x2), Abby Hassart, Alexa Fender, and Romane Maugest
  • Reis broke a program record with his 64.67m javelin throw, Munroe secured the No. 2 national ranking in the men's long jump; others who notched provisional marks were Reis, Rudi May, Taylor (x2), Fender, and Maugest
  • Maugest now ranks first in the NSIC in the women's pole vault, Reis is top of the conference for javelin, Taylor is first in the 400m hurdles and third in the 100m hurdles, Munroe took the second spot in the men's long jump conference standings, and Drew Salfrank now stands at fifth in the NSIC in the men's 400m
