BEKAH WALZ LEADS WOLVES ON LAST DAY OF SHAMROCK INVITE

Myrtle Beach, S.C. – The Northern State University track and field team finished day three of the Alan Connie Shamrock Invite Saturday. 11 top-10 finishes were recorded by the Wolves on the closing day.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE MEN
  • Rudi May secured third place in the pole vault with a 4.86m mark
  • In the triple jump, Jayden Munroe jumped 14.80m to earn seventh
  • With a height of 1.98m, Martins Ogendenbe-Dobies finished nineth in the men's high jump
  • Dylan Hoot claimed the 10th place spot in the high jump with his 1.93m mark
 
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE WOMEN
  • Taking the gold in the women's pole vault was Bekah Walz and her 3.90m mark
  • The 4x100m team of Kali Norton, Renea Taylor, Anna Skachenko, and Alexa Fender ran a 47.10, coming away with a top-3 finish
  • Also in the pole vault, Romane Maugest's 3.65m height earned her sixth place
  • Renea Taylor took seventh in the women's 100m finals, crossing the line at 11.89
  • Seventh place in the discus went to Chloe Peterson with a 41.45m mark
  • Andi Mehrer had a nineth place throw in the shot put with a distance of 11.79m; she also threw 38.43m in the discus event to earn 10th
