Myrtle Beach, S.C. – The Northern State University track and field team took on day two of the Alan Connie Shamrock Invite Friday. Two personal records and four top-5 finishes were recorded by the Wolves.

  • Second place in the pole vault was secured by Liz Dunham and her 3.20m mark
  • The women's heptathlon finished today as NSU's Morgan Sheldon totaled 4537 points and took fourth; her marks on the day included 4.96m (long jump), 30.31m (javelin), and a time of 2:33.31 (800m)
  • Renea Taylor placed fifth in the 100m prelims with her 11.86 time to qualify for tomorrow's event finals
  • Also, in the 100m was Kali Norton setting a personal best, crossing the finish line at 12.74
 
UP NEXT
The Wolves are back in action Saturday, March 21 for the last day of the Alan Connie Shamrock Invite. The last day of the invitational is set to start at 8 a.m. with the men's discus.
