WOLVES OUTDOOR SEASON BEGINS AT SHAMROCK INVITE

Myrtle Beach, S.C. – The Northern State University track and field team opened their 2025-26 outdoor season on Thursday at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invite. Four of the six Wolves competing today took top-four finishes on the day.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE MEN
  • Northern State saw Martins Ogendenbe-Dobies secure first place in the men's lon jump with a mark of 6.64m
  • Also in the long jump was Greyson Schuetzle jumping 6.11m, earning him fourth
 
HOW IT HAPPENED FOR THE WOMEN
  • Morgan Sheldon was in action in the women's heptathlon where she currently sits in second with 2855 total points; she had times of 15.05 in the 100m hurdles and 27.25 in the 200m and marked 1.57m (high jump) and 11.42m (shot put)
  • In the javelin throw, Macoya Hansen finished fourth with a distance of 41.51m
