NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• Northern State outdoor track and field gets their 2026 season started off at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invite Friday, March 19
• Both men's and women's indoor teams finish sixth at the NSIC Championships; there were four conference championships and six all-conference performances for the Wolves, along with three broken school records
• Jayden Munroe, Renea Taylor, and Bekah Walz qualified for NCAA Indoor Nationals where they each received All-America honors
• In the 2025 outdoor NSIC Championships, the men placed third and the women finished sixth for NSU
• This year, Northern State is picked to finish fifth (men's) and sixth (women's) in the preseason coaches' poll
• The team's preseason athletes to watch for the outdoor season are Chris Weber, Jayden Munroe, Renea Taylor, and Bekah Walz
