NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• The Wolves are headed back to Sioux Falls, S.D. for the NCAA National  Championships this week
• Sloan Johannsen (125), Rudy Lopez (149), and Griffin Lundeen (157) will represent Northern State
• Johannsen has a 27-6 record on the year and took first place in the Super Region V Tournament; his first match up of nationals will be against Bryson Humphries of Drury
• With a 19-4 record this season and finishing first in the regional was Lopez; he will face Gavin Garcia of Indianapolis
• Lundeen is 15-8 this year, coming in third at the regional tournament; his first contest will be against Adam State's Aaden Valdez
• As a team, Northern finished fifth in the NCAA Super Region V Tournament
• After receiving votes all year, NSU breaks the top-25 standings in the latest NWCA poll of the year, ranking No. 25
• Lopez is the only individual ranked for the Wolves in the latest poll, standing at No. 5 in the nation at the 149 weight class
