Aberdeen, S.D. – The (RV) Northern State University wrestling team hosted No. 13 St. Cloud State on Sunday, February 8. The initially close contest slipped away from the Wolves midway through the dual.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The 285 bout started action between the Wolves and Huskies
  • St. Cloud State got on the board first with a TF 17-2 (6:30) win by Zach Glazier over Nathan Schauer
  • Sloan Johannsen responded quickly for the Wolves, defeating Ben Aranda by fall (0:13)
  • The Huskies stormed back with a 133 weight technical fall and a 141 weight decision to regain the lead
  • In the 49 pound match, No. 14 Rudy Lopez topped Alyeus Craig by TF 22-6 (6:04) to bring the score to 13-11 (SCSU)
  • Coming out of intermission, the Huskies won the remaining five bouts (three decisions, one major decision, and one sudden victory)
