NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES
  • The Wolves are 8-6 (3-5 NSIC) after two dominant wins over Jamestown (67-58) and Sioux Falls (77-58) to kick off 2026 after losing their last two games to MSU Moorhead (77-76) and Minnesota Crookston (65-58)
  • This season, Northern State has outscored opponents 918-908 and have shot 43.1% from the field, 26.8% from beyond the arc and 63.8% from the charity stripe
  • As a team, the Wolves average 65.6 points, 38.1 rebounds, 11.1 assists, 15.4 turnovers, 6.8 steals and 2.1 blocks per game
  • Izzy Moore recorded her first double-double of the season in Monday's victory over the Cougars, boasting 24 points and 12 rebounds

  • Taylor Tool has been an efficient scorer for Northern, boasting the fifth highest field goal percentage (41.6%) and the highest three point percentage (39.4%) on the team
  • Morgan Fiedler is second in assists on the team with 38 (2.7 per game) and recorded her second game with at least five assists in their victory over USF
  • Off the bench, freshman Reagan Rus has been a solid contributor, averaging 10.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game in her last four outings while shooting 41.1% from the floor this season
 
WAYNE STATE STORYLINES
  • The Wildcats are 6-8 (1-7 NSIC) and after starting the season 6-1, WSC has lost their last seven games
  • This season, Wayne State averages 64.4 points, 38.0 rebounds, 12.5 assists, 17.7 turnovers, 9.4 steals and 2.5 blocks per game
  • WSC has shot 38.7% from the floor, 28.8% from deep and 67.4% from the line this season while opposing teams have shot 37.7% from the field, 31.5% from the three point line and 78.1% from the free throw line
  • Senior Rachel Dahlen has been the Wildcats' favorite option this season, averaging 11.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.1 blocks per game
  • Dahlen has made 44.6% of her field goals, 20% of her long balls and 70.7% of her free throws
  • Kylah vanDonkergoed is coming off an 18 point outing against Augustana and averages 9.9 points and 5.8 rebounds a game while Tenleigh Smith (8.9 points per game) and Kelsey Willems (7.7 points per game) follow behind

  • Augustana has been outscored by opponents 1,043-982, averaging 70.1 points, 39.6 boards, 14.4 assists, 20.4 turnovers, 8.6 steals and 2.1 blocks a game
  • As a team, Augie shoots 42.2% from the floor, 33.9% from beyond the arc and 67.1% from the line
  • Isabella Sanneh has been one of the best players in the NSIC this season, averaging 14.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.5 steals a game
  • On the court, Sanneh shoots 48.7% from the field, 50% from long range and 61.5% from the charity stripe
  • Sanneh recorded her eighth double-double of the season in their win over the Wildcats on Saturday
  • Junior guard Payton Hardy and senior Kristin Edmonds follow suit with 9.4 points per game apiece while Hardy pulls in 6.6 boards and 1.4 steals per match
  • Nate Vogel is in his second season with Augie, holding a 11-31 record with the program
