BLOCK EARNS CSC ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT® AWARD

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Football teams, selected by College Sports Communicators were released today, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Northern State University senior Wyatt Block was named to the NCAA Division II All-District® team and will advance to the national ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists will be voted on by CSC members.
 
Block led the Wolves with 1,271 rushing yards and nine touchdowns in 11 games, marking the first 1000-yard season of his career. He posted a single-game high of 192 yards rushing against MSU Moorhead and six 100-yard games. Block also caught 26 passes for 225 yards and a touchdown, finishing with 1,496 all-purpose yards. He closed out the regular season ranked second in the NSIC in rushing yards per game at 115.5 and first in the North Division. Block was honored on the NSIC All-Conference second team and D2CCA All-Region second team.
 
First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced January 27, 2026. The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
