LOOKING AHEAD TO 2026

Carson Zimmel,
Hunter Brown, and
Lance Behrens.
KUSLER'S THOUGHTS
- On the Team: "A good mixture of veteran leadership and young talent is what excites me most about this team. We return a lot of guys with experience in this league both at the plate and on the mound. Combine that with some new faces who will have a big impact on our success. This team has the right attitude and work ethic to compete in this league, and I'm excited to see what we can do in 2026."
- On Benson: "Drew brings a lot of experience to the table as he returns for his fourth year. A mainstay at first base and in the heart of our order, Drew's consistency offensively and defensively will be extremely valuable to our team. Benson is coachable and a great teammate, and I'm excited to see him contribute to our team's success this season."
- On Zimmel: "Carson returns for his second year as a go-to arm on our pitching staff. After leading our staff in innings last year, I envision a very similar role for him in 2026. Carson is the ultimate leader on the mound. His competitiveness and work ethic are truly special, and I look forward to watching him lead this staff with a year of experience in the NSIC under his belt."
