Aberdeen, S.D. – Northern State University student-athletes extended their streak of academic excellence in the fall of 2025, marking the 35th consecutive semester with a grade point average above a .3.0. In addition, for the second straight semester the Wolves tallied a term GPA of a 3.4, with 11 programs above a 3.0 and seven above a 3.5.
 
"The importance of academic performance and degree completion is a cornerstone of our department here at Northern State," noted Nate Davis, Director of Athletics. "Wolves student-athletes, past and present, have set an expectation for strong academic performance over the last 17-plus years and that continued into the 2025 fall semester."
 
In addition, over 150 student-athletes were honored on the fall President's List, Dean's List, and Academic Recognition List as release by the university. To view the full listing CLICK HERE.
