NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES
  • Northern State comes into the new year after an impressive showing at the SDSU Holiday Meet in early December
  • 29 Wolves finished in the top-10 in their respective events, five of which claimed first place
  • Seven men and seven women recorded personal bests at the meet
  • Renea Taylor hit a provisional mark in the 60m hurdles, ranking 21st in the nation
  • The Northern State men were picked fifth overall with 79 points, while the women were picked sixth with 135 points in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll
  • Chris Weber, Eli Radtke, Morgan Sheldon, and Taylor were selected as the team's athletes to watch in 2025-26
 
JAMESTOWN STORYLINES
  • The Jimmies roll into 2026 having participated in the SDSU Holiday Meet and the Dakota Alumni Classic
  • Jamestown had seven total top-10 placers across the two meets
  • The Jamestown men were picked 11th in the conference with 16 points and the women were picked 14th with 37 points in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll
  • Clark Lortscher, Ashton Judge, Lydia Franson, and Brenna Held were chosen as the Jimmies' athletes to watch in 2025-26
 
THE WOLVES AND JIMMIES HISTORY
  • The last meeting between the two programs was January 18, 2025
  • The Northern state men outscored the Jamestown men 121 – 17, while the women's score favored the Wolves 92.5 – 44.5
