NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

  • Northern State took the seventh spot in the 2025 NSIC women's soccer preseason coaches' poll while highlighting Chloe Voss and Lauren Youngquist as NSU's players to watch
  • The Wolves finished the 2024 season 7-7-4 (6-5-3, NSIC), boasting a 5-2-2 record at home
  • NSU added 12 freshmen to the roster this season (two goalkeepers, three defenders, four midfielders and three forwards)
  • Voss tallied four goals in 2024 while starting all 18 games (second-most on the team)
  • Head coach Bob Casper enters his fifth season at the helm for the Wolves, compiling a 32-22-19 record in his tenure


NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE STORYLINES

  • The Bearcats took sixth in the MIAA 2025 women's soccer preseason poll
  • Last season, Northwest Missouri State went 7-6-6 and 5-4-3 inside conference play
  • Central Missouri ended the season for the Bearcats with a 3-2 loss in the MIAA quarterfinals
  • Finished the 2024 season with four straight losses (Pittsburg State, Washburn, Emporia State and Central Missouri)
  • Marc Gordan is in his eighth season with the Bearcats and holds a 49-48-20 as the head coach
