NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• The Wolves were picked tenth in the 2025-26 NSIC Swimming and Diving Preseason Coaches' Poll
• Last season, Northern finished 1-8 (0-4, NSIC), taking down Jamestown, who joined the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference this season
• The Wolves added seven freshmen to their roster, featuring Riley Vraniak out of Nevada and Ella Wanschura of Forest Lake, Minn.
• Junior Jacie Flockart took tenth last season in the 1-meter dive, second for non-qualifiers in the conference championship
• The Wolves are coached by Kaden Huntrods, who is in his fifth year with the program

 
SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA STATE STORYLINES

• The Mustangs were selected eighth in the preseason poll
• In 2024, SMSU went 4-6 (2-5, NSIC) with victories over NSU and USF
• Maddy Storm took fourth in the 100-yard IM and fifth in the 200-yard breaststroke in the conference championship last season
• Marty Wahle is the coach for Southwest Minnesota State and is in his seventh season with the school

 
CONCORDIA-ST. PAUL STORYLINES

• Concordia-St. Paul was picked fourth in the conference poll
• The Golden Bears went 4-5 last season (3-4, NSIC) and finished fifth in the NSIC Championship
• Sophie Leo earned a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle last season at the conference championship
• CSP is coached by fifth-year head coach Rachel Busch

 
UNIVERSITY OF MARY STORYLINES

• UMary was selected for the seventh slot in the NSIC preseason poll
• In 2024, the Marauders went 5-1 (3-1, NSIC) and finished eighth in the conference championship
• Swimmer Samantha Sheridan took fifth in the 1,650-yard freestyle at the tournament last season
• Mary is coached by Abby Loel, who is in her third year with the team
