Two School Records and Two All-American Performances for NSU from NCAA Championships

Pueblo, Colo. – Three Northern State University Wolves took on the NCAA Championships on Thursday, with two making their national debut. NSU earned six team points with a pair of All-American finishes by Sam Tremelling and Jayden Munroe.  
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Tremelling opened the day for NSU, reaching the podium with the first All-American award of his career and an eighth place finish in the pole vault
  • The junior cleared 5.22m, breaking his own school record in the event by just under seven inches, while clearing the 17-foot threshold
  • Munroe was next up for the Wolves, jumping to a fourth place finish and the first All-American honor of his career
  • The freshman broke his own school record in the event with a 7.63m mark on his second attempt of the evening, climbing the scales from his 22nd ranked mark heading into the championships
  • Chris Weber was the final Wolf in action from Pueblo, racing in the 100m with a time of 10.39 in 21st overall
