Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University has opened registration for the summer youth and team camps. All participants should register through northernstatewrestlingcamps.com. Youth Camp is set for June 2-4, while Team Camp is June 22-25. Full details on each of the camps are outline below.
 
Youth Camp
When: June 2-4, 2025
Session 1 Time: 9-11:30 a.m.
Session 2 Time: 1-3:30 p.m.
Who: Boys & Girls K-6th
Where: NSU Wrestling Room
Cost: $135 (includes camp shirt)

The Northern State youth camp is open to 50 participants grades kindergarten through sixth in each session. The camps title clinician is South Dakota State University assistant coach Clay Carlson. Carlson is a 4-time NCAA qualifier, 2-time NCAA All-American, and sixth all-time in wins for the Jackrabbits.

The Northern State team camp features four days of technique wrestling and dual sessions. Commuter and resident options are available for boys wrestlers, while commuter options are available for girls wrestlers. Commuter participants can choose to purchase a meal plan.
