St. Paul, Minn. – The Northern State University softball team fell twice to Concordia-St. Paul on Friday. The Golden Bears tallied a walk-off in game one and ran away with game two, scoring six runs in the bottom of the second. Northern notched a combined ten hits and two runs on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 1
- Aune Boben kicked off the contest for the Wolves notching a lead-off, 2-strike home run to left
- The Golden Bears tied the game in the third and added the game winner in the bottom of the seventh
- The NSU offense had opportunities, recording seven hits and leaving ten runners on base, including eight in scoring position
- Tevan Bryant led the offense with three hits, followed by Madi Jones with two
- Abby Rux tossed a gem, despite the loss, giving up two runs on six hits with a strikeout

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 2
- The Wolves tallied their one run on three hits with two defensive errors in game two
- Eden Ford scored Northern's first and lone run of the contest on a single to left by Tevan Bryant in the first
- Concordia answered with one run in the first and added six in the second and three in the third, securing the mercy rule victory
- Bryant, Emma Owens, and Courtney Hennen recorded a hit apiece in the game
- Aune Boben suffered the loss, fiving up seven earned runs on six hits, while Dessa Bryant entered in relief, giving up two earned runs on six hits with three strikeouts
