Aberdeen, S.D. – Registration is now open for the 2025 Wolves on the Water Walleye Fishing Tournament set for May 30-31 from New Evarts Resort and Walth Bay. The 2-day event features a Friday evening banquet, steak dinner, over $50,000 in raffles and prizes, seven hours of fishing, payouts to the top-20 teams, and big fish/rough fish competitions.
Sponsored by Helm Marine Inc., the annual fishing tournament is one of the largest fundraising events for the Wolves Club and Northern State University Athletics. Participants can register their 2-3 person teams by visiting
nsuwolves.com/WOW2025_Reg or mailing in a registration form. The cost to participate is $360 per team with a $30 increase to $390 after May 9 at 4 p.m. Team registration includes a full day of fishing Saturday, entry in the big fish and rough fish competition, as well as a steak dinner at the Friday evening banquet. The full event schedule is outlined below.
Registrants can purchase their team in the Calcutta, raffles tickets for the 12 Gun Giveaway, and Cash Raffle tickets when signing up online. Teams that purchase their team in the Calcutta prior to the banquet on Friday will be eligible to win one of three $1,000 cash prizes given away at the start of the banquet. The 12 Gun Giveaway tickets are $100 each with only 250 tickets sold; a listing of the guns included is outlined below. The Cash Raffle tickets are $100 each with 22 payouts offered and a top prize of $10,000; only 400 cash tickets will be sold.
