Minot, N.D. – Six bout victories led the Northern State University wrestling team passed Minot State University on Sunday afternoon. The Wolves tallied four bonus point victories, including a pair of pins by Sloan Johannsen and Braydon Mogle.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Spencer Roth opened the afternoon with an exhibition match victory over Kale Farrington via pin at 3:35 in the match
• Northern opened the scoring portion of the dual with back-to-back wins by Mason Fey and Damon Pape
• Fey defeated Gavin Turk in a 2-0 decision, while Pape tallied an 18-4 major decision win over Marcus Allen
• Minot State chipped away at the Wolves lead, coming within one with a pair of decision victories at 197 and 285 pounds
• Johannsen propelled NSU forward with a late first period pin (2:37) over Dylan McDonald and Northern held a 13-6 lead
• The Beavers did not sit down quietly, responding with a decision victory at 133-pounds
• No. 12 Braydon Mogle kicked off three straight wins for the Wolves, notching the second pin of the evening over Adrian Chavez at 6:39 in the match; Mogle led 12-1 prior to the pin
• No. 4 Wyatt Turnquist added yet another technical fall to his 2025 resume, defeating Ethan Wonser by a score of 17-1 at 4:17, sealing the dual victory for NSU
• Griffin Lundeen extended that lead in the Wolves final win of the evening, defeating Ryan Hrcka in a 7-0 decision
