Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State University wrestling team faced off against top-ranked St. Cloud State University on Friday evening from Wachs Arena, suffering their third conference loss of the season. Multiple weights went down to the wire with the Wolves recording two victories.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern tallied match wins at 141 and 285 pounds, earning six team points
- Despite falling in eight bouts, Northern gave up just three bonus point matches and suffered three losses by two points or less
- The Huskies sent eight ranked wrestlers to the mat, including No. 1 Joel Jesuroga at 157-pound who Griffin Lundeen stuck with for all seven minutes in the 4-2 decision
- No. 4 Wyatt Turnquist battled No. 13 Colby Njos in a 1-0 decision and Tyson Lien came within grasp of the 197-pound win against No. 2 Dominic Murphy in a 4-2 loss
- No. 12 Braydon Mogle recorded a win for the Wolves at 141-pounds, defeating No. 13 Alyeus Craig in a 5-0 decision; Mogle held tough on top for the entirety of the second period, scoring all of his points in the third
- Nathan Schauer came from behind in his 12-8 decision win over Jadon Mims in the nightcap; the heavyweight trailed 6-2 after the first and out-scored Mims, 4-0 in the second and 6-2 in the third for his 17th victory of the season
