Findlay, Ohio – The Division II Conference Commissioner's Association released the 2025 All-Region football teams today with two honored from Northern State University.
Jake Adams tallied first team defensive honors, while
Wyatt Block was named to the offensive second team in Super Region 3.
Adams led Northern State with 93 tackles in just seven games. The junior averaged 13.3 tackles per game which led the Northern Sun and ranked second in the country through the regular season. He tallied a single game career-high of 21 tackles against the University of Sioux Falls and recorded double figure tackles in four contests. Adams broke the Northern State Division II era school record for career tackles against Concordia-St. Paul with his 256th and finished the year with 303. Adams earned NSIC All-Conference first team accolades for the second straight year and is now a 2-time All-Super Region 3 selection with the D2CCA.
Block led the Wolves with 1,271 rushing yards and nine touchdowns in 11 games, marking the first 1000-yard season of his career. He posted a single-game high of 192 yards rushing against MSU Moorhead and six 100-yard games. Block also caught 26 passes for 225 yards and a touchdown, finishing with 1,496 all-purpose yards. He closed out the regular season ranked second in the NSIC in rushing yards per game at 115.5 and first in the North Division. Block was honored on the NSIC All-Conference second team and is a first time All-Super Region 3 honoree.
