Lancaster, Pa. – D2Football.com released their 2025 Elite 100 Team today with Jake Adams honored on the list for the second straight year. The Elite 100 compares to traditional All-American honors, selected by staff members of D2Football.com with input from sitting head coaches as well as professional football scouting veteran Josh Buchanan.
 
Adams led Northern State with 93 tackles in just seven games. The junior averaged 13.3 tackles per game which led the Northern Sun and ranked second in the country through the regular season. He tallied a single game career-high of 21 tackles against the University of Sioux Falls and recorded double figure tackles in four contests. Adams broke the Northern State Division II era school record for career tackles against Concordia-St. Paul with his 256th and finished the year with 303. Adams is a 2-time NSIC All-Conference first team selection, 2-time D2CCA All-Region honoree, 2-time Don Hansen All-American, 2-time Elite 100 recipient and All-America with the AP and Walter Camp.
