Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State's Joshua Book (men's basketball) and Izzy Moore (women's basketball) are this week's South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week following their performances last weekend.
 
Book led Northern State averaging 16.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists in their wins over MSU Moorhead and Minnesota Crookston. He shot 47.4% from the floor and a league leading 100.0% from the foul line. The junior recorded 19 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists against the Dragons, shooting 50.0% from the floor. Book is currently on a 7-game streak in double figure scoring.
 
Moore led the women averaging 18.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists against the Dragons and Golden Eagles. She shot 48.0% from the floor, 37.5% from the 3-point line, and 75.0% from the foul line. The senior added two steals and one block in the two contests. She scored a weekend high 29 points against MSU Moorhead and pulled down a weekend high 11 rebounds against Crookston.
