Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State's James Glenn (men's basketball) and Izzy Moore (women's basketball) are this week's South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week following their performances last weekend.
Glenn led Northern State in his first two games of the season, averaging 18.0 points. He shot 44.0% from the floor and 35.0% from the 3-point line, knocking down seven long range buckets. The senior added ten rebounds, seven assists, and one block, while leading the team with three steals. The Iowa native dropped a season high 26 points against Chadron State, hitting 9-of-14 from the floor with five made 3-pointers.
Moore led Northern State averaging 16.0 points and 6.0 rebounds against Jamestown and Southwest. She shot 57.1% from the floor and 50.0% from beyond the arc. The senior added a team best 11 assists. The South Dakota native scored a week high 17 points against Jamestown. Moore shot 54.4% against the Jimmies and 60.0% against the Mustangs.
