SMALL COLLEGE BASKETBALL INDUCTS ERIC KLINE INTO HALL OF FAME

Lakeland, Fla. – Northern State University great Eric Kline was officially etched into the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday, as a part of the SCB Classic weekend. "Congratulations to the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2025," exclaimed McCarthy. "What an impressive and accomplished Hall of Fame Class!  October 31 is going to be a special day, as we formally induct these worthy players, coaches and a contributor into our national Hall of Fame. They have certainly earned it!  We are so grateful to our Hall of Fame Committee for their time, effort, research and knowledge in selecting this class."
 
Kline played three seasons for the Wolves from 1992-95 and is a member of the Northern State (2010), Northern Sun (2012), and South Dakota High School Basketball (2012) Hall of Fames. The Aberdeen native capped off his collegiate career as the 1995 NAIA Division II Player of the Year. In addition, he was a 3-time NSIC Player of the Year, 3-time NAIA All-American, and the 1995 South Dakota College Male Athlete of the Year. He led the nation in 3-point field goals made in 1993 and 1994. Kline and the Wolves advanced to the NAIA Final Four twice, finishing as the national runner-up in 1993-94. Northern went 88-16 in his three seasons on the roster.
 
Kline averaged 26.3 points per game for the Wolves in his career, setting the school record, and continues to hold school records in single game 3-point field goals made (11), single game 3-point attempts (23), single season points scored (958), single season points per game (27.5), single season field goals made (341), single season field goal attempts (670), single season 3-point field goals made (156), single season 3-point field goal attempts (393), career scoring (2,660), career 3-point field goals made (456), and career 3-point field goal attempts (1,089).
