(RV) NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• The Wolves enter their third straight week at home with a 5-2 record overall and 4-2 mark in the Northern Sun
• NSU is averaging 35.4 points, 223.3 yards rushing, 225.7 yards passing, and 449.0 yards of total offense this season with conversion rates of 54.0% on third down and 57.1% on fourth down
• Northern is coming off a 55-23 non-conference victory over Southwest Minnesota State and their second game of the season with over 500 yards of total offense
• The Wolves defense has a league second best 22 sacks on the year in addition to ten interceptions, four forced fumbles, and 42.0 tackles for a loss
• Jake Adams leads the NSIC averaging 13.3 tackles per game and sits second in the country; the junior has 93.0 total tackles and an NCAA Division II leading 49 solo stops
• Brock Bagozzi and Daniel Britt are a dual threat for NSU this season, propelling a balanced offense
• Bagozzi has 1034 total yards passing and 11 touchdowns, averaging 147.7 yards per game, while Britt has 529 yards passing and four touchdowns
• Britt is also second on the team behind Wyatt Block averaging 9.1 yards per carry and 51.7 yards per game rushing with two scores
• Block ranks second in the league standings averaging 103.9 yards rushing per game with three touchdowns
• Six receivers have double figure catches this season led by Zach Kraft with 215 total yads and four touchdowns in 2025
• The trio of Kyle Thomas, Andrew Ewald, and Cooper Logan have two interceptions apiece this season, while Max Van Landingham is leading the active linemen with 6.0 tackles for a loss

 

MSU MOORHEAD STORYLINES

• The Dragons enter the weekend with a mirrored record to the Wolves and a week of rest under their belts
• MSUM is averaging 35.6 points, 85.3 yards rushing, 343.6 yards passing, and 428.9 yards of total offense per game with conversion rates of 43.1% on third down and 50.0% on fourth down
• The defense has 11 sacks, six interceptions, three forced fumbles and 40.0 tackles for a loss in 2025
• The high powered offense is propelled by Jack Strand who sits second in the country in passing touchdowns (24), passing yards (2,293), and passing yards per game (327.6)
• Gage Florence and Brady Perryman are the main targets for Strand with 606 yards receiving each this season and a combined 14 touchdowns
• Tyson Brandt leads the rushers with 381 total yards, averaging 5.8 yards per carry and 54.4 yards per game
• Mitchell Jezierski leads the defense with 64.0 tackles, followed by Tate Gustafson with 62.0; the pair account for 11.0 tackles for a loss as well
