CLAY, VOSS NAMED ARMY NATIONAL GUARD ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State's Blake Clay (football) and Chloe Voss (soccer) are this week's South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week following their performances last weekend.

Clay put the Wolves up 27-3 with a blocked punt return for a touchdown. The redshirt senior picked up Richard Prescott's blocked punt and ran it back 35 yards for the first score of his career. The touchdown marks Northern's second special teams TD of the season and first on a punt.

Voss led Northern State with two goals against Minot State and UMary. She opened the scoring against the Beavers just six minutes into the match for her second of the season. The junior cut the Marauder lead in half scoring at the 60-minute mark against UMary. The Minnesota native notched three total shots, all of which were on goal. Voss recorded four points in the 1-0-1 weekend.
