- UMary took an early 2-0 lead in the game, featuring two goals by Olivia Gardner (assisted by MaLiah Burke and Dina Polanco)
- Chloe Voss (one goal, one shot and one shot on goal) tallied Northern's first goal of the game inside the first 15 minutes of the second half
- Lauren Youngquist tied the game after her header was tipped in by a UMary defender inside the box
- After a foul by UMary's Allison Lepp inside the box, Ella Ready notched the go-ahead goal for the Wolves by way of a penalty kick
