NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

  • Northern enters their lone non-conference game of the 2025 season with a 4-2 record overall, coming off a 34-31 upset victory over No. 10 Minnesota Duluth
  • NSU is averaging 32.2 points, 214.8 yards rushing, 221.3 yards passing, and 436.2 yards of total offense per game, converting at rates of 49.4% on third down and 61.5% on fourth down
  • The defense sits second in the league with 18 sacks for a total loss of 112 yards and has seven interceptions, three forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries
  • Brock Bagozzi and Daniel Britt are splitting time under center with Bagozzi averaging 148.5 yards passing per game with eight touchdowns and Britt averaging 71.7 yards passing per game with three touchdowns
  • Wyatt Block tallied his third straight 100-yard rushing game of the season against the Bulldogs and leads the team with 610 total yards and three touchdowns

  • The Mustangs head into the week with a 1-5 record overall, recording their lone win against Jamestown (12-7) in week two
  • Southwest is averaging 12.0 points, 24.3 yards rushing, 205.2 yards passing, and 229.5 yards of total offense per game, with conversion rates of 21.8% on third down and 25.0% on fourth down
  • The SMSU defense has seven sacks and seven interceptions this season
  • Their opponents are converting at rates of 44.6% on third down and 50.0% on fourth down, while averaging 460.3 yards of total offense per game
  • Macloud Crowton has 1,160 yards passing this season with five touchdowns, averaging 193.3 yards per game
