WOLVES CROSS COUNTRY TALLIES RUNNER-UP FINISHES AT UMARY

Bismarck, N.D. – The Northern State University cross country teams closed out their regular season on Friday at the UMary Marauder Open, competing against UMary, Minot State, and Valley City State. Both teams came home with second place finishes, behind the host Marauders.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
  • The men tallied an 8k average time of 28:01, recording a team score of 66
  • Carter Flatau and Jacob Angerhofer were the top finishers for the Wolves in tenth and 11th overall with times of 27:14.4 and 27:34.7 respectively
  • Easton Klatt landed in the top-15, taking 13th with a time of 27.46.4
  • Zach Palmer, Patrick Severson, Blake Stoks, and Christian Wells all landed in the top-25 of the meet with times of 28:34.9, 28:56.3, 29:422.5, and 29:32.2
 
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
  • The women ran to an average 6k time of 23:58 with 43 total points
  • Emaleigh Olesiak finished as the race runner-up with a time of 22:03.7, recording an average mile time of 5:55
  • Abby Hasart tallied a sixth place finish, crossing the line in 22:37.9, while Jolie Dugan followed in 12th with a time of 22:56.0
  • Madelin Nye and Breck Ekenberg rounded out the top-5 finishers for the Wolves with times of 25:42.1 and 26:35.1 respectively
