AUSTIN, Texas – College Sports Communicators released their 2024 Academic All-America® women's volleyball teams today with Northern State University junior
Abby Meister honored. as selected by the College Sports Communicators. The Wolves libero earned second team accolades and is the first volleyball student-athlete honored by CSC since Ashley Rozell in 2019.
Meister led the NSIC this season averaging 5.67 digs per set with 578 digs total. She recorded double figure digs in 27-of-28 matches this season, and surpassed 1000 digs as a Wolf in just two seasons at NSU. The Sioux Falls native holds a career mark of 1,405 digs. In addition, she tallied 18 matches on the year averaging 5.00 digs per set or better. She was named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Week twice, a back-to-back first team NSIC All-Conference honoree, and the NSIC Libero of the Year.
