NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• Northern State notched the number seven spot in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll with Megan Fastenau and Alexus Townsend selected as the team's preseason players to watch
• The Wolves ended the 2023 season with a 9-4-5 overall record and an 8-1-5 in the NSIC
• NSU closed out the NSIC regular season in third place; the program's highest finish since 2007
• Northern State was unable to advance past the first round of the NSIC conference tournament last season to the University of Mary after earning the three seed
• Fastenau led the Wolves in the 2023 season starting all 18 games with seven goals and finish eighth in the NSIC
• Bob Casper enters his fourth season as head coach, holding a career record of 75-70-22 and 25-15-15 record with Northern State

DRURY UNIVERSITY STORYLINES

• Drury University grabbed the number three spot in the GLVC Preseason Coaches' Poll
• The Panthers closed out the 2023 season in third place in the regular season with an overall record of 12-4-3
• DU was unable to make it pass the semifinals losing to McKendree University 2-1
• Kourtney Tucker led the team in the 2023 season with five goals while starting in 16 games
• At the helm for the Panthers is Justin Olson as he enters his fifth season

• MWS dropped in the first round of the MIAA postseason tournament to Washburn University, 3-2
• Kendall Knisley returns for her second season with the Griffins after starting in 18 games in the 2023 season with six goals and a shot on goal percentage of .517
• Jacob Plocher enters his second season at the helm for Missouri Western
