NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

  • Northern State closed out the 2023-24 season with a 4-9 overall record and a 3-9 mark against league opponents
  • The Wolves took eighth place in the NSIC Championships with a total of 268 points
  • NSU was picked seventh in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll released earlier today, receiving 21 points
  • Abbegael Nynas and Jacie Flockhart were named the swimmer and diver to watch this season for NSU
  • At the helm for the Wolves is Kaden Huntrods, entering his fourth season
 

UNIVERSITY OF MARY STORYLINES

  • The University of Mary closed out the 2023-24 season with a 2-7 record
  • The Marauders finished in sixth place in the NCIS Championships with 607 total points
  • UMary was picked eighth in the Preseason Poll with Peyton Wunderlich selected as the swimmer to watch this season
  • Abby Loel is at the helm for the Marauders, entering her second season
 

THE WOLVES AND MARAUDERS HISTORY

  • Northern went 2-1 against UMary last season with 105-88 and 117-96 wins and a 148-117 loss
  • The Wolves are 7-11 all-time against the Marauders
 

SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA STATE STORYLINES

  • Southwest Minnesota State finished the 2023-24 season with a 9-5 record
  • In the NSIC Championships, the Mustangs finished in seventh place with 275 total points
  • SMSU was picked sixth in the Preseason Poll with Carla Nevi and Aydrial Taylor selected as the team's swimmer and diver to watch this season
  • Marty Wahle enters his sixth season at the helm
