NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• The Wolves enter the weekend looking for their first win of the fall season after a pair of losses to #5 South Dakota and Sioux Falls
• Northern is averaging 154.0 yards rushing, 95.5 yards passing, and 249.5 yards of total offense per game
• In the return game, NSU is averaging 18.0 yards per kickoff and 6.3 yards per punt return
• The defense ranks fifth in the NSIC in total defense and third in passing defense through the first two games; holding their opponents to conversion rates of 40.0% on third down and 0.0% on fourth down
• Daniel Britt and Colton Hackel have each seen time under center with Britt leading the team with 128 yards passing and a 58.3% pass completion percentage
• Hackel threw the team's first touchdown of the season last weekend to Hank Kraft and has 63 total yards on the year

• The Beavers welcome the Wolves for their homecoming contest with a 2-0 record, notching wins over Valley City State (38-7) and Southwest Minnesota State (42-9)
• Minot is averaging 40.0 points, 309.0 yards rushing, 16.0 yards passing, and 325.0 yards of total offense per game this season
• Their defense is holding opponents to a 29.2% conversion rate on third down, however their foes have been victorious on fourth down converting on 5-of-6 attempts
• In addition, the Beaver offense has scored five touchdowns in the red-zone and tallied points on six of their seven red-zone attempts
• Carson Chrisman directs the offense leading the team with 32 yards passing and four rushing touchdowns, while sitting second on the team with 167 yards rushing
