Sioux Falls, S.D. – The Northern State University baseball team split the day winning in game one, 6-4 and losing in game two, 12-2 against Concordia-St. Paul.
Max Otto notched the win on the day in a complete game with eight strikeouts while a powerful offense in game two by the Golden Bears kept the win out of reach.

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 1
- After two scoreless innings, Northern State was the first to score as Brennan Phillips singled to center field that scored Jordan DeMarce
- Jack Weidner reached first on an error by the third basemen that scored Dylan Soulek in the third inning
- On a fielder's choice by the second-basemen, Karson Hesser reached first while Nick Friedges and Phillips scored to lead by four runs in the bottom of the third
- Concordia-St. Paul notched four runs in the top of the fifth inning to tie the game
- Weidner singled to center field that scored Friedges and Phillips to take the lead
- The Wolves recorded six runs off of three hits and one stolen base
- Max Otto notched the win in 7.0 innings pitched with eight strikeouts against 27 batters

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 2
- Concordia-St. Paul was the first to score with one run in the first inning and four runs in the second inning
- After a scoreless inning, the Golden Bears extended their lead with four runs in the top of the fourth inning
- Michael Benevides grounded out to first base while Jonah Schmidt scored to trail by eight runs in the bottom of the fifth
- CSP added three runs in the sixth and seventh innings to lead by 11 runs
- Benevides knocked one over the left field fence for a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning
- NSU tallied two runs off of four hits and no errors in the contest
- Luke Stuber recorded the loss in 3.0 innings pitched with two strikeouts
