Wolves Fall Short Against Beavers in NSIC Action

Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State wrestling team dropped to Minot State, 24-18 Friday night from Wachs Arena. The Wolves won in four weight but ultimately fell short against the Beavers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Landen Fischer grabbed a 6-0 decision win against Logen Fischer to put the Wolves up 3-0
  • Minot State, Wayne Joint notched the first points for the Beavers taking down Brenden Salfrank to put them up 4-3
  • The Wolves respond back with back-to-back wins as Braydon Mogle and Wyatt Turnquist did their magic, notching 5.0 points each to put the wolves up 13-4
  • MISU added 7.0 points with back-to-back wins in the 157 and 165 weights
  • Seth Brossard attacked early and often to keep the Wolves alive with a pin at 1:41, adding 6.0 points for the Wolves
