Mogle and Turnquist Ranked in Recent NWCA Release

Manheim, Pa. – The National Wrestling Coaches Association released their final rankings of 2024 with two Northern State University Wolves in the top-12 of their respective weights. In addition, Northern State continues to receive votes in the national team poll.
 
Braydon Mogle landed in the top-12 of the 141-pound weight class for the first time this season, sitting at No. 11. Mogel holds an 8-5 record through the opening months of the season, including a top-25 victories over then No. 9 Mason Myers and No. 6 Isham Peace. He also finished eighth at the 2024 Midwest Classic.
 
Wyatt Turnquist moved up one spot to No. 6 overall at 149-pounds following a strong weekend at the Midwest Classic prior to the holidays. Turnquist is 11-2 this season with top-25 wins over then No. 9 James Ruan and No. 3 Dylan Brown. He took fourth at the Midwest Classic and is nearing 100 career victories with 91 currently.
 
The next edition of the poll will come out following the 2025 NWCA National Duals, with a release date of Jan. 20, 2025.
