Manheim, Pa.  – In the most recent NWCA National Rankings, Northern State University graduate student Wyatt Turnquist sits at No. 7 in the 149-pound weight class. Turnquist moved up one spot from the opening rankings of the season.
 
In addition, Northern is receiving votes in the poll as a team. The next edition of the poll will come out just before the end of the calendar year, Dec. 23, 2024. 
 
Turnquist will likely make his 2024-25 debut on Thursday, December 5 against MSU Moorhead. He was slated to wrestling in the Wolves opener against Dakota Wesleyan, however the Tigers were open at his weight. The winner native was selected as the team's wrestler to watch this season.
