Johnson, Flockhart Named Army National Guard Athletes of the Week

Aberdeen, S.D. - Northern State's Jacie Flockhart (swimming) and Trevor Johnson (football) are this week's South Dakota Army National Guard Athletes of the Week following their performances last weekend.

Flockhart recorded two first place finishes in the dual meet against Jamestown. The sophomore tallied a score of 171.37 in the first 1 meter dive in six dives. In the 1 meter dive with five dives, she notched a score of 244.50. The Boone native currently sits first in the nation in the 1 meter dive (five dives).

Johnson intercepted a Bemidji State pass midway through the fourth. BSU was 1st-and-10 on their own 30-yard line and Johnson tallied the 1-handed grab to put the ball in the Wolves favor. The graduate student added three solo tackles on the day.
