• The Wolves enter the 2023-24 season picked fifth in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll and receiving votes in the NWCA Top-25 Poll
• Wyatt Turnquist was selected as the team's wrestler to watch this season and is currently ranked eighth nationally at 149 pounds
• Northern returns four starters from a season ago including Teagan Block, Braydon Mogle, Wyatt Turnquist, and Nathan Schauer

 

LAST TIME AT THE JIMMIE OPEN

• Northern opened the 2023-24 season at Jamestown with five weight class wins and eight top-5 placings
• Returners Braydon Mogle and Wyatt Turnquist took home top honors at 141 and 149 pounds
• Clay Gates and Tyson Lien took fourth at 133 pounds and 184 pounds, while Ayden Viox and Nathan Schauer placed second and fifth
