St. Cloud, Minn. – The Northern State University women's soccer team was unable to stop the late comeback against St. Cloud State, losing 2-1. Kailyn Poppen broke the game open in the second half with a goal, but the Wolves defense was unable to defend the powerful Huskie offense.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Northern State and St. Cloud State offenses ended the first half scoreless with three shots each
- Kailyn Poppen open the game up for the Wolves in the second half with a goal to take the lead at the 51 minute mark
- The Huskies responded back to tie the game at the 66 minute mark
- At the 68 minute mark, SCSU broke through the NSU defense to take the lead
- The Wolves trailed behind the Huskies in shots, 12-9
