Aberdeen, S.D. – A powerful offense led the Northern State University women's soccer team to a 3-0 shutout win against Minnesota Crookston. The Wolves took control early in the game with Sophie Taylor finding the back of the net while holding the Golden Eagles to only five shots in the match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Northern State offense started the game off strong as Sophie Taylor found the back of the net off her head to take the lead; Eva Larson recorded the assist on the play
- In the second half, Abby Missman found a hole through the Minnesota Crookston defense to extend the lead by two
- Lauren Youngquist connected on a pass by Lauren Carpenter for a goal at the 87 minute mark
- The Wolves out-shot the Golden Eagles, 18-5 while only allowing one shot-on-goal
- In addition, NSU tallied eight corner kicks to the UNC one
