Aberdeen, S.D. – The No. 18 Northern State University wrestling team travels to No. 5 St. Cloud State this Thursday, January 25 for a mid-week dual against the Huskies. Start time is set for 7 p.m. from Halenbeck Hall.

#18 NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• Northern enters the dual with a 7-8 record overall and 2-1 mark in the NSIC, with nine top-25 match-ups thus far this season
• The Wolves are ranked 18^th in the most recent NWCA Poll with Wyatt Turnquist ranked second at 149 pounds and Devin Bahr ranked fourth at 157 pounds
• Turnquist holds a 19-3 record overall this season, while Bahr is 14-3
• Seth Brossard stepped on the scene last weekend for NSU and went 3-0 from the UNK Younes Hospitality Duals, including an upset victory of No. 12 Anthony Des Vigne; he earned NSIC Wrestler of the Week honors
• Northern went 1-2 from Kearney with losses to No. 1 Central Oklahoma and No. 7 Nebraska Kearney; each loss came down to the final match of the dual
• Turnquist also tallied a 3-0 record from UNK, while Bahr went 2-1 falling to fourth ranked Gabe Johnson

 
#5 ST. CLOUD STATE STORYLINES

• St. Cloud State enters the week with a 9-1 record overall and 4-0 mark in the Northern Sun
• Their lone loss came against No. 1 Central Oklahoma at the NWCA National Duals in early January
• The Huskies are ranked fifth in the most recent NWCA Poll with seven individually ranked wrestlers including No. 7 Knopick (125), No. 12 Craig (141), No. 8 Njos (149), No. 1 Novak (157), No. 10 Herrera (165), No. 10 Fitzpatrick (184), and No. 4 Murphy (197)
• SCSU is led by head coach Steve Costanzo in his 18^th season at the helm
