Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State cross country teams are set to compete at South Dakota State University on Friday at the Edgebrook Golf Course. The women's 5k will start at 6 p.m. and the men's 8k will take off a half hour later at 6:30 p.m.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• The Wolves started the season last week placing seventh (men) and 11^th (women) at Augustana Twilight
• The men recorded an average 4-mile time of 20:48.25, while the women notched an average 5k time of 19:30.19
• Nathan Alto led the men's team with a time of 20:02.69 taking 19^th place
• The women's team was led by Megan Pickering who crossed the finish line at 18:47.2
