Renea Taylor Set for NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships

Aberdeen, S.D. Renea Taylor heads to the second NCAA Championships of her career this week, competing in the 100m and 400m hurdles. The Wolves sophomore will make her debut on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the 100m and 8:10 p.m. in the 400m hurdles. The 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships is hosted by Colorado State University Pueblo from the CSU Pueblo Thunderbowl.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES
  • Taylor enters the championships ranked 13th in the 100m with her school record time of 11.58
  • She earned All-Conference accolades in the 100m, taking third from the NSIC Championships two weeks ago
  • The Washington native sits 17th in the 400m hurdles with her season best of 1:00.22
  • She landed on the podium at the NSIC Championships in the 400m hurdles with a fifth place finish
  • Taylor is coming off an indoor All-American performance in the 60m, taking 11th place
