The Northern State Wolves went 5-6 overall and 3-2 from Dacotah Bank Stadium in the fall of 2023. They tallied a comeback victory over Wayne State in mid-October (28-26), tallied home victories against UMary (41-10) and Minot State (46-9) over Gypsy Days, spoiled Southwest Minnesota State’s homecoming (24-17), and sealed their season with a 44-20 victory over Northern Michigan in their first non-conference contest in over ten years.
Seven single game, season, and career school records were tied or broken this past fall. New school record holders include Jacob Van Landingham for single game pass completion percentage against Minot State (91.7%), Trey King for single game tackles for a loss against Minot State (5.0), Dakota Larson for single game receptions against Northern Michigan (14), career receiving yards (3,660), and career receiving touchdowns (31), Hank Kraft for single season yards per rush (7.4), and Dewaylon Ingram for single season receiving yards (1,220).
