Northern Set to Face Northern Michigan for the First Time in Program History

Aberdeen, S.D. – For the first time in over ten years, the Northern State University football team is set for a non-conference match-up. The Wolves will travel to Northern Michigan on Saturday, November 11. Kickoff is set for 12 pm (CT) against the Wildcats.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES
  • Northern State hits the road for the final game of 2023 with a 4-6 record overall
  • The Wolves are averaging 25.0 points, 145.6 yards rushing, 244.2 yards passing, and 389.8 yards of total offense with third and fourth down conversion rates of 43.2% and 51.7% respectively
  • The NSU defense has nine interceptions on the year, as well as 15 sacks and eight forced fumbles
  • Colton Hackel and Jacob Van Landingham each saw snaps last weekend with Hackel notching 1306 total yards and eight touchdowns in 2023 and Van Landingham adding 505 total yards and four touchdowns

  • Sam Peiffer leads the receivers with 333 total yards and three touchdowns, while Tyquan Cox leads the rushing attack with 361 total yards
