Aberdeen, S.D. – For the first time in over ten years, the Northern State University football team is set for a non-conference match-up. The Wolves will travel to Northern Michigan on Saturday, November 11. Kickoff is set for 12 pm (CT) against the Wildcats.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• Northern State hits the road for the final game of 2023 with a 4-6 record overall
• The Wolves are averaging 25.0 points, 145.6 yards rushing, 244.2 yards passing, and 389.8 yards of total offense with third and fourth down conversion rates of 43.2% and 51.7% respectively
• The NSU defense has nine interceptions on the year, as well as 15 sacks and eight forced fumbles

• Brett Brenton leads the rushing attack with 530 total yards and five touchdowns this fall
• The Northern State defense is led by Trey King with 67.0 total tackles, including 12.0 tackles for a loss and two forced fumbles
• Lynden Williams and Corey Scott each have two interceptions this season, with Williams sitting second on the team with 53.0 tackles
• Luke Gunderson and Jake Adams round out the Wolves top-4 with 49 and 47 tackles respectively this season

• Northern Michigan enters the regular season finale with an 0-10 record overall
• The Wildcats are averaging 12.4 points, 80.8 yards rushing, 161.2 yards passing, and 242.0 yards of total offense this season
• The NMU defense has nine sacks, six interceptions, and five forced fumbles in 2023
• Aidan Hoard stepped into the starting role midway through the season and has 773 yards passing with three touchdowns
• Sam Peiffer leads the receivers with 333 total yards and three touchdowns, while Tyquan Cox leads the rushing attack with 361 total yards
• Brock Franklin has a team leading three rushing scores and is second on the team with 197 yards rushing
• The defense is led by Mitch Larkin with 104.0 total tackles, followed by Justin Peake and Jax Hertel with 71.0 and 58.0 tackles respectively
• Both Jake Price and Caleb Wright have a team leading three sacks, while Kade Manzo and Ricky Lancaster lead the Wildcats with two interceptions
