Aberdeen, SD – The Northern State cross country teams will compete at the NSIC Cross Country Championship this Saturday, October 21, hosted by the University of Mary. Races will begin at 10 a.m. for the women's 6k and 11:15 a.m. for the men's 8k from the McDowell Dam.

• Nathan Alto and Josh Martin have been consistent top performers for the men's team
• Megan Pickering has led the women's program all season and won the Jimmie Invitational two weeks ago
• Last year the women's team placed eighth with a time of 2:04:24 and an average 6K of 24:52
• In 2022 the men's team placed seventh with a time of 2:15:26 and an average 8K of 27:05
